What's your most used kitchen devices + least used kitchen equipment(aside from the general pots and pans)?

I noticed ppl. have a collection of things in the kitchen we never use anyway (choppers/food processors, bread makers, special pancake "poppers," rotisserie, george foreman grills…). Was wondering what is bought in abundance for the kitchen but hardly used in your region?

most:microwave

Least:the rest :D

I bought the Foreman Grill, and used it only a couple times.. too much hassle to clean. Now it collects dust.
I've gone thru like 3 microwaves over the years. The best kitchen invention ever made!
I have to admit though, I LOVE my Rotisserie! I use it every chance I get. If they weren't so expensive I'd buy one as a Christmas gift for all my friends and family! Like the commercial says, you just "Set it, and Forget it" hehehe.. and Voile' the most moist and juicy turkey, chicken, roast you'll ever taste.. Ok, now I'm hungry.. thanks alot! :)
oh, you mentioned Regions.. I'm in the PNW region of the US.

I think this is a very difficult question to answer because not everyone in my region is like me! I'm in the Pacific Northwest. I love to bake and cook… so some of the things you mentioned are used quite frequently in my home! I love my KitchenAid mixer, my hand mixer, all my utensils, blender… etc. I actually don't own much that I don't use. Seems pointless to own them if you don't use them, doesn't it? There is ONE thing, now that I think of it, that I NEVER use. I got a Belgian waffle iron for my wedding, used it once and haven't used it since. It makes great waffles, but I much prefer to make pancakes. So, there is sits, in my cabinet, mostly forgotten.

Oh! I don't have one of these, but the MOST POINTLESS product that I've seen advertised is the sandwich maker. Here's one if you wanna see it:

Honestly, is that necessary? I'm sure that if someone actually owns one of these it'll fit into the "least used" category! It just seems like one more appliance that you'll have to clean! If you use your stove top you can at least put the griddle in the dishwasher when you're done!

Anyway, to answer your question… I think my MOST used kitchen device (aside from my oven, stove, pots and pans) is my hand mixer. I use it all the time for beating eggs. It's great for making omelets, beating eggs before adding them to other ingredients when baking… etc. I actually JUST used it this morning actually! I'm baking a spinach quiche! It's in the oven RIGHT NOW! :o ) OK, then my LEAST used kitchen device? The Belgian waffle iron.

Well, I hope this helps to answer your question! Take care!
