What do you find difficult about kitchen cookware and storage i.e pots, pans, tupperware….?
I am doing a project on improving cookware and would like some input as to what problems you find with the items you currently use to cook with
The biggest problem – or nuisance – is that pots and pans invariably have handles which are the same size as the pan. They could easily be made to be removable – clip on – and thus take up HALF the storage space.

Pots and Pans: the handles coming loose.
Tupperware: losing the lids.

Some of the storage containers and sandwich tubs have too many ‘lips’ and gaps around the edges. It makes washing and drying them so difficult. I have a large selection of Tupperware tubs and the only effective way to dry them after they’ve been washed is to stand them on the radiator. Now, in this age of technological innovations, couldn’t they could come up with a better way of styling the tubs so that no leftover foods get trapped in crevices etc?
I did have an idea some years ago, about making a saucepan with a lid that is connected to the side of the pan and folds in half similar to this………/\ (if you get my meaning!) No more separate storage for lids because they are attached to the pan itself!

First Tupperware… Haven’t used it in years, so it’s possible that there have been improvements. It would be nice if Tupperware was microwaveable.
Now pots and pans… the ideal shape for storage would be square or rectangular. Unfortunately, all stoves have round burners which would result in uneven heating (and hard dish washing). So you want round pots with slightly rounded bottom (for easy stirring), and really heavyweight for eaven cooking (and no dents). Try to figure out how you could stack them for storage.
I happen to have an umpty year old pyrex bowl/pot with a lid and a snap-on handle. The handle can be stored inside, and when locked in position, nothing will make it fall off.

to the other responder – tupperware has several products that are microwaveable and even had a line of products for use in the oven.
i have no suggestions for you about cookware or storage, but i have a really good way for you to improve baby bottles.
